TRANSLATION OF DOCUMENTS INTO SERBIAN FOR WORKERS FROM ABROAD TO WORK IN SERBIA

You are looking for work in Serbia and have to prepare your documents to apply for a Serbian work permit?

Do you mediate in the temporary employment of workers from abroad and facilitate import of workers for companies in Serbia?

Recently, Serbia has become interesting as a destination for employment for people from Asia and Africa. When you import workers from abroad: India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Egypt, and from other countries, you must follow the legal procedure set by the Serbian authorities.

WELCOME TO SERBIA

The procedure is significantly simplified, and complete official information regarding the process itself is available.

The official website of the Government of the Republic of Serbia https://welcometoserbia.gov.rs/home provides detailed information on the process of immigration to Serbia, and there are also links to apply for work visas for workers, so this process is quite automated.

When future workers come to Serbia for temporary work, they usually need a D Visa, which allows them to stay in Serbia for at least 90 days and a maximum of 180 days. This visa allows multiple entries into the country. The D Visa also serves as a work permit and allows workers to start working immediately upon arrival in the country. Unlike the previous practice, obtaining a D visa, in accordance with the new regulations, automatically fulfills the requirement for starting work in Serbia.

CERTIFIED TRANSLATION OF DIPLOMAS, HIGH SCHOOL CERTIFICATES AND OTHER DOCUMENTS INTO SERBIAN

Workers must confirm their acquired knowledge and qualifications with formal documents in this regard. Suffice to say that workers bring or send by e-mail to their employers or agents their documents confirming their work qualifications. Since these documents are in a foreign language, according to the Serbian legislation, you need services of a court appointed translator. All documents confirming the education and qualifications of workers from abroad (diplomas, high school certificates and the like ) must be translated into Serbian by a court interpreter. If the documents are in English, which is mostly the case, since court translators for Hindi, Sinhala, Urdu and similar languages do not even exist in Serbia, the easiest way is to immediately contact the Court interpreter for the English language in Novi Sad and bring that document or email them. Documents are carefully translated into Serbian, and after a final proofreading and verification, the translation is printed out and certified and finally merged with a copy of the original document. Only duly translated and certified document is submitted when applying through the D visa website for workers coming to Serbia to work.

After that, you are all done. You have duly certified documents and that are valid, legal instruments which you can upload in the work visa application process.

Court Interpreter for English in Novi Sad shall translate all documents in accordance with high translation standards. You can be sure that all documents will be carefully translated, and then thoroughly checked.
